Treasures From Trooper Foundation helped my little dog when it got hit by a car in 2013. She had never been outside without her leash other than for for her daily walks. One day my grandchildren had been over and wanted to go out to play, the little one left the side door open and Mystique bolted out after them. She didn't watch where they had went so she darted out and got hit. The driver felt horrified and sad, but helped me carry her to my car. I rushed Mystique to the hospital, it was then I found out she would lose her hind leg. The vet bill was very costly and I being on a senior fixed income now after losing my husband in January and now my dog my lose its life too. I had seen a brochure on the counter and I took it to read while my poor dog lay sedated and helpless. The lady that hit her offered to help, but it wasn't her fault, it was my dog that ran out in her path. She was helpful toward anything Mystique needed, but I turned her down as if it wasn't for the children going out to play the dog wouldn't have gone to find them due to an open door. In the end the lady gave $500.00 anyway toward the vet bill and I paid $1000.00 and T.F.T.F. covered the rest. Mystique THANKS T.F.T.F. for all the kindness for saving her life.
